Tithely has said Breeze is now Tithely Church Management, part of its Tithely 3.0 platform, and that existing churches are being moved in phases.S10 If your church is going to be moved anyway, it's a fair time to look at what else is out there.
- Export from Breeze.Tithely's help center describes exporting People, Tags, Events, Contributions and Notes as Excel files. Giving history is exported separately, and large histories can time out, so Tithely suggests a year at a time.S8
- Choose what you're importing.People and families, notes, giving (Breeze or Givelify), attendance, or tags. One file at a time.
- Match the columns.Breeze doesn't publish the exact column names of its exports, so Chapelbook lines your headers up with its fields and lets you fix any it got wrong. Your choices are remembered for next time. Extra columns become custom fields.
- See what will happen first.A preview, called a dry run, shows what would be added and flags any problem rows. Nothing changes yet.
- Import, and undo if you need to.If something looks wrong, one click rolls the whole import back.
- Check the totals before you cancel Breeze.We'll go over giving by year and fund with you, side by side with Breeze's own reports, before you cancel anything.
Honest note. The importer has been built to Breeze's documented file layouts and tested on sample files. It has not yet been run on a real church's export. We'll do that with you, and we won't ask you to cancel Breeze first.
